Customer information: A machinery equipment manufacturer in Hanoi, Vietnam (customer code VN-Machinery), mainly engaged in food processing production line equipment, needs to purchase a batch of 304 stainless steel seamless pipes for equipment core components.
Key requirements:
Specifications: Φ38×2mm, length 6 meters, surface pickling treatment
Certification: Provide material report (MTC), third-party SGS inspection certificate
Delivery time: Complete production and shipment within 45 days
Payment: 30% advance payment + 70% final payment for delivery

2. Communication and quotation stage
June 5-June 8

Confirmation of technical details:
The customer's first email inquiry emphasized that the pipeline must withstand the acid cleaning environment. Our technical team suggested upgrading to 304L ultra-low carbon stainless steel (carbon content ≤0.03%), and provided an intergranular corrosion test report, and the customer approved the solution.

Confirm the packaging standard: wooden pallet + waterproof film wrapping, with plastic sheaths at both ends to prevent bumps.

3. Production and quality control
Customer participation:
On July 5, we invited customers to conduct a video inspection of the factory and demonstrated the eddy current flaw detection (ECT) inspection process.
On July 15, we sent the inspection report of the first batch of 50 pipes and photos of the shelf stacking. The customer replied that "the quality exceeded expectations".

4. Logistics and delivery
Transportation arrangements:
Total cargo volume: 8.2 tons, divided into 2 40HQ containers.
Booking: Choose CMA CGM direct sailing schedule (Qingdao Port-Haiphong Port, voyage 12 days), and the freight is borne by the customer.
Document preparation: Issue commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin in advance (FORM E enjoys tariff concessions).
On August 3, we mailed the original documents, followed up the customer's customs clearance throughout the process, and the goods were signed for on August 17.

5. Subsequent cooperation

On September 2, we received an email from the customer: "The pipeline fits perfectly in the equipment assembly and has been recommended to partners."
