S32760 (F55, 1.4501) is a high-alloy super duplex stainless steel, mainly used in various highly corrosive environments. S32760 duplex steel has strong strength and corrosion resistance and is mainly used in chemical processing, petrochemicals and subsea equipment. It has strong resistance to chloride corrosion, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient. The high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen content makes it highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and other corrosion. The excellent comprehensive performance of S32760 duplex steel is better than that of general duplex steels, such as 2205, S31803, etc.

S32760 duplex steel is resistant to various inorganic and organic acids. The added copper element makes it have excellent resistance to non-oxidizing acid corrosion. S32760 is also resistant to strong alkali corrosion. However, S32760 duplex steel is not suitable for use at long-term working temperatures above 300°C, because above this temperature, the toughness of the material will decrease significantly.
