S32750 duplex stainless steel pipe‌ is a high-performance alloy material with excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and good mechanical properties. S32750, also known as UNS S32750 or SAF2507, is a super duplex stainless steel that combines the advantages of austenitic and ferritic steels and is suitable for various extreme environments‌.

Chemical composition and physical properties

The main chemical composition of S32750 stainless steel includes about 25% chromium, 3%-5% molybdenum, 6%-8% nickel and 0.24%-0.32% nitrogen. These ingredients give it excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. Its mechanical properties include tensile strength ≥800MPa, yield strength ≥550MPa, hardness range of 250 to 290HB, and elongation ≥15%‌.

Corrosion resistance and application areas

S32750 stainless steel exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, especially in environments containing chloride ions, sulfides, and acid. It has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and uniform corrosion, and is suitable for high-strength and corrosion-resistant structural parts and components in the fields of ocean, chemical industry, oil and gas. Specific applications include offshore platforms, ships, submarine pipelines, oil refining equipment, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) processes.
